BETAINE HCL or betaine hydrochloride is a compound that can act as an additional source of hydrochloric acid in the body, which influences gastric acidity.
Supplementation with betaine hydrochloride (betaine HCl) can bring benefits by restoring an optimal level of gastric acidity. It is beneficial in indigestion, feeling of gastric hyperacidity, gastric reflux, bloating, heartburn, etc.
Betaine can contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily consumption of 1.5 g of betaine. A daily consumption exceeding 4 g of betaine can cause a significant increase in blood cholesterol levels. A high level of homocysteine can pose a danger to the health of blood vessels and can contribute to the appearance of atheromatous plaque.
For optimal digestive support, the capsules contain, in addition to betaine hydrochloride, also FENCING SEED EXTRACT (Trigonella foenum-graecum).
